Andy and Martin are very keen runners and cyclists who compete in various challenges and events throughout Scotland.

The purpose of the Speyside Duathlon event is to bring something different to Speyside area while centering it around the small town of Rothes. The event is to raise money primarily for The Fire Fighters Charity and local charities through each participants entry fee and sponsorship.

We want everyone participating in the Speyside Duathlon to derive enjoyment from meeting the personal challenge of reaching the finishing line and making new friends along the way.

This event is aimed at all people with reasonable levels of fitness. This is not a race but a challenge.

The Fire Fighters Charity is the UK’s leading provider of services that enhance quality of life for serving and retired fire service personnel and their families. We’re available for all members of the fire service community during their times of need, assisting thousands of individuals every year by providing pioneering treatment and support services.

It costs £9m every year to meet the needs of the charity’s beneficiaries, and with no government funding, it is completely reliant upon donations from the general public and fire community.
